Jerell and LeMAY

Jerell has thus far been a lackluster contestant. Nothing great, but nothing superb either. I personally credit most of his Lipstick Jungle success to Stella, but I may be slightly biased in her favor. I don't see him lasting much longer than 3 more episodes, and that's if he's lucky. I think He, Keith, Blayne, and Suede will be the next four out in no particular order.

As For LeMAY she was pretty, but not typical drag. This is not a bad thing and Daniel's dress would have actually suited her persona. I don't think it's fair that the judges expected Jerell to make an over the top queen's outfit for the most subtle queen on the runway. The color of the dress was wrong and definitley had a dour look. The fringe did look cheap and the collar was wrong, ruffly and unsuccessful. Also Jerell was definitely loving on himself a little too much. One look around the room should have been enough to tell him that he wasn't revolutionary.

the make is adequate, and Jerell had good intentions. He got tripped up trying to marry the drag aesthetic with LeMAY's. He should have gone full out either one way or the other, something he hasn't had trouble doing in the past. That said, I'm glad he's still in and this probably shouldn't have been bottom three.
